THINK Teacher Toolkit
Classroom Activities for Teachers
The following lesson ideas and classroom activities were compiled by a group of teachers and support staff from WRDSB elementary and secondary schools. Many of the activities are creative, collaborative, and open-ended. All of the activities can be adapted to different age groups and subject areas. Several offer students opportunities to use social media for authentic educational purposes. Experiences like these can be invaluable in terms of helping students
- build a positive Digital Footprint and
- gain a deeper understanding of the potential for the use of social media in an educational setting.
